~~In AWE of the ARBORETUM ~~ Flowers, Families, Fragrance,Fun

There is no better place to break in a new camera than the Arcadia Arboretum.

The flowers are a given, they are gorgeous. From the colors, to the fragrances, to the fragile petals, these pieces of God's art work should truly be appreciated by all.

When we open out eyes to what is right in front of us, we can see the beautiful of life in all of it's complexities.  Nature, people, passions, I see life thru a lens.  While my business is Debra Snell Photography, I'd like to think that what I do is capture images that warm my heart.  Like a family on a special outing in their Sunday best.  Like the Duran Family with the beautiful innocence of their children.  Thanks for letting me enjoy your family if only for a few minutes.

Trying to capture kids is sometimes easier than photographing flowers in hot houses that are constantly misting the delicate flowers.  Mist and cameras are NOT a good mix.

Meeting Artist Anna T. Kelly was real pleasure.  Her passion for painting was etched all over her face.  I enjoyed watching her process her vision.  www.annatkelly.com  Thanks for letting me include you in my vision Anna.

My new camera is allowing me to enjoy the smallest of creatures and the most vibrant colors even more!

At the end of the day, I left this sanctuary with a sense of sufficient peace and tranquility, and the knowledge that tomorrow, more families will come and be better for it when they leave!
